The famous Talmudic advice to be "bold as a leopard, swift as an eagle, fast as a deer and brave as a lion to do the will of your Father in Heaven" was given by Rabbi Yehuda Ben Teima.

Tradition places his tomb in the area of Alma and Dalton near Tzefat in the hills of Upper Galilee.
